My series “Read between the lines” artistically explores communication and thought symbolically in black and white.
In A private side conversation words and meaning are never really black and white even though the composition is. By working within linear boundaries on the canvas I create the tension, while showing literal grey areas that allow for interpretation. Note that the negative and positive pattern changes signal changing perspectives or flipping your opinion. In the end what appears to be clear, is in fact abstract as illustrated by the asemic writing running down the side. The writing symbolizes your private side conversation.
